The Embedded Manifesto

Embedded software has a high barrier to entry. Even assuming a working knowledge of programming languages and circuit theory, there is a significant investment of resources that goes into developing with a new platform. This leads to cognitive biases, poor market competition, and bad engineering decisions.

For these reasons, The Embedded Wiki shall serve the following purposes:

• Lower the initial investment for embedded platforms
• Encourage open development for embedded platforms
• Promote engineering education in universities and secondary institutions
